AME Nutrition was founded in 2009 by Doug Kantner, a lifelong athlete and food-industry entrepreneur who believes wholeheartedly in the power of clean, nutritious foods. Over the years, AME has grown from a business focused largely on dairy ingredients to a company with considerable expertise in plant-based foods, cereals and flavorings.
With every ingredient we source and sell, we’re committed to helping ensure the health and longevity of people and the planet. Most of our products are sustainably farmed, minimally processed and thoughtfully produced, which means they’re grown by people who are working to save water, reduce greenhouse gas emissions, and use land more efficiently. Many of our ingredients are grown in the EU, which has stringent guidelines for their common agricultural policy. Not only is the focus on the food, but also on the environment and countryside. As such, you can count on AME to have extraordinarily safe ingredients thanks to strict supervision and tracing of exports; strong restrictions on the use of chemical pesticides, synthetic fertilizers and antibiotics; and zero tolerance for unauthorized GMOs.
